40 years later and Third World still has young and old on their feet belting out the lyrics of their songs. Reaching across generations and the night’s headliner’s ended the first night of Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in keeping with the name: Reggae Dance Dance Party. The crowd rocked til the early morn with performances from the likes of reggae staples old and new, including Cocoa T, Rootz Underground Chaka Demus and Pliers, Alaine, Nadine Sutherland and more.
