Hours before hitting the stage at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival last night (Friday), multi Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey tweeted, “Don’t stop funkin’ for Jamaica, #JaJazz see you tonight.”

The best female-selling artiste of all time, who has sold more than 220 million albums, while earning 18 Billboard Hot 100, was ready to repeat the full-blown spectacle the people in Asia experienced in 2014. It’s Mariah’s first time performing in the region, proving again that the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival is home to some of the biggest names in the music industry.
