JAILED dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel and his co-accused Vanessa ‘Gaza Slim’ Saddler and Andre ‘Pim-Pim’ Henry on Wednesday had their trial on a charge of perverting the course of justice postponed to November 12 in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.
The trial was set to begin Wednesday but was further delayed due to the absence of the presiding judge and the non-disclosure of statements to the defence.
Consequently, a new date was scheduled and Palmer was remanded into custody while the other accused had their bails extended.
The three accused were charged last December while Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adijah Palmer, was in custody after being charged with the murder of Clive Williams. – The Observer
